Common Threads Project (CTP) believes that all survivors of sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) are entitled to high quality psychological care. Common Thread Project focuses on three tasks: building local capacity of mental health providers, launching scalable interventions, and conducting efficacy research to ensure that treatment is effective in reducing psychological symptoms and improving mental health of survivors.
GAPDI is a community-based organization operating in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, dedicated to improving lives through integrated health programs, peace and security initiatives, humanitarian and emergency assistance, education, and environmental protection. GAPDI works closely with vulnerable communities affected by conflict, displacement, poverty, and instability. Through local partnerships and community-driven actions, the organization promotes resilience, social cohesion, access to essential services, and sustainable development. GAPDI is committed to empowering individuals and communities by responding to urgent needs while building long-term solutions for a safer, healthier, and more hopeful future in Eastern Congo.
